Florfenicol (CAS 73231-34-2), is an antibacterial for animals, a pharmaceutical active ingredient for treatment of dothienesis, bovine respiratory diseases, swine bacteriosis, intestinal infection.Florfenicol is the structural homologues of Chloramphenicol. Its function mechanism and antibacterial spectrum is similar to Chloramphenicol and Thiamphenicol. However, taking Florfenicol will not result in drug-resistance as Chloramphenicol and Thiamphenicol will do.
